The all-Russian Competition for Promoting the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia
The all-Russian Competition for Promoting the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia, by a decree of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, has declared 2026 the Year of the Unity of the People of Russia. The Municipal Association of Libraries of Yekaterinburg, with the support of the Russian Library Association’s Working Group, “Libraries and Social Media,” has announced the opening of applications for the all-Russian Competition for Library Projects in the Digital Sphere, aimed at promoting the cultural heritage of the people of Russia.
Competition entries are accepted in three categories: Texts (posts, articles, long-reads); Photos and Images (photographs, collages, infographics, illustrations, virtual exhibitions); and Video (short clips, vlogs, interviews, animation, live streams). Entries must be created and published online between March 1, 2025, and March 16, 2026.
To participate, applicants must submit an entry form, including links to their competition materials, via the electronic form available on the organizer's official website, no later than March 16, 2026.
