The international competition, “The Best Library Practices Preserving the Historical Memory of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War"

The Russian State Library invites you to take part in the International competition, "The Best Library Practices Preserving the Historical Memory of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War,” which is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

The competition is being held with four nominations:

  • I nomination: "Faces of Victory";
  • II nomination: "Best historical interview";
  • III nomination: "Best thematic event";
  • IV nomination: "The best virtual exhibition presented on the library website."

State and municipal libraries, libraries of scientific and educational organizations, libraries of public organizations and associations, libraries of other organizations and businesses of the Russian Federation, and countries of the near and far abroad, are invited to participate.

Deadline for applications and competition work: January 9th to May 15, 2025 should be sent to the e-mail: kutevana@rsl.ru. The subject of the letter should read, "Victory Competition," and the nomination number.

Applications that meet the requirements specified in the regulations for events implemented in 2024 and 2025 (until May) will be accepted for consideration.
