“Preservation of the Historical Memory of the Great Patriotic War: The Role of Libraries”
The Russian State Library and the Russian Library Association invite you to take part in the all-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation, "Preservation of the Historical Memory of the Great Patriotic War: The Role of Libraries,” which will be held May 14th and 15th, 2025.
The conference program will combine several thematic areas:
- Libraries During the War Years: New Pages of History;
- Modern Activities of Libraries Preserving the Historical Memory of the Great Patriotic War.
- The program will include a round table, "Historical Memory of the Great Patriotic War in the Activities of Libraries in Regions of Russia.”
The deadline for submitting articles for publication in the conference proceedings is February 15th.
The deadline for applications for participation with a report is April 14, 2025; registration for participants without reports is May 5, 2025.
