Video Series of Famous Figures

The Commission under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for the preservation and development of the Tatar language has created a video series about famous figures who have left a deep mark on the history of the Tatar people.

The video series is posted on the YouTube channel for the Institute of the Tatar Encyclopedia of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Currently there are six episodes dedicated to Baki Urmancha, Musa Jalil, Gabdulla Tukai, Salikh Saydashev, Maguba Syrtlanova, and Ilham Shakirov.  The programs are being hosted by the historian, public figure, and doctor of historical sciences, Iskander Ayazovich Gilyazov.
