Grants of the President of the Russian Federation for the Development of Civil Society, in 2021
The Presidential Grants Fund announces two competitions among non-profit non-governmental organizations participating in the development of civil institutions implementing socially significant projects and projects in the field of protecting human and civil rights and freedoms, for the provision of grants from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society, in 2021. From September 1st, to October 15, 2020, applications for participation in the first competition will be accepted.
Projects of non-profit non-governmental organizations can be submitted to the competition, providing for the implementation of activities in the following areas:
- social services, social support and protection of citizens;
- health initiatives for citizens, promotion of a healthy lifestyle;
- support for family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood;
- support for youth projects;
- support of projects in the fields of science, education, and philosophy;
- support of projects in the fields of culture and the arts;
- identification and support of young talent in the fields of culture and the arts;
- preservation of historical memory;
- protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, including protection of prisoners' rights;
- environmental protection and animal protection;
- strengthening inter-ethnic and inter-religious harmony;
- development of public diplomacy and support of compatriots;
- development of civil institutions.
