We invite you to take part in the All-Russian competition, “Libraries: PROMOTION.”

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian State Library invite central and municipal libraries of the country to take part in the Competition “Libraries: PROMOTION.”  The purpose of the competition is to identify the best practices for promoting libraries and spread awareness throughout the country about them, as well as inform the public about the possibilities of libraries, and their advantages over other cultural institutions.

 Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted from September 14, to October 15, 2020.

 Participants can take part in the following nominations:

  • The Library as a Brand;
  • "The best press service of the library";
  • "The best PR project: promotion of a library event or activity";
  • "Promotion of the library in social networks."

 Winners in each category will receive diplomas and gifts.  The awards ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the Competition will take place at the Coordination Council for Culture of the IX Saint Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
