Children's Literary Award "Glagolitsa”

Since 2014, the Happy Stories Charitable Foundation has been holding the Glagolitsa Independent Literary Award.

The goal of the project is to encourage young authors writing in Russian and Tatar languages.  Children from ages ten to seventeen years old from the Russian Federation, near and far abroad, can participate in the competition for the independent literary prize "Glagolitsa".

Applicants for the award can nominate literary works that have not been published anywhere before, in the nomination categories: prose, poetry, essay, and literary translation.  In the nomination categories, "Prose" and, "Essay," participants can submit only one work of their own composition, in the nomination category, "Literary Translation,” the translation of the work and the original of the author's text are accepted, in the nomination category, "Poetry,” you can send several works (with a total of no more than sixty lines).

Participants in the competition need to fill out an application on the official website of the Glagolitsa Prize.  Participation is free and there are no registration fees.

Acceptance of works for the award will be carried out until September 15, 2020.
