We invite you to take part in the all-Russian competition, "Librarian of 2019"
The Ministry of Culture of theRussian Federationdeclared commencement of the all-Russian competition, "Librarian of 2019."
The competition is focused on the preservation of the high standards of activity of the library branch, identification of leaders of professional skill, encouragement of young specialists, promotion of socially significant library and information projects, and raising awareness of innovations in library services to the citizens ofRussia. The staff of the municipal libraries ofRussia, with length of service not less than two years, and students who are training there are invited to enter the competition.
Important dates regarding the all-Russian competition, "Librarian of 2019":
June 25 — September 30: Acceptance of participants.
October 7 — 15: The advisory council performs an assessment of the submissions which have arrived and prepares recommendations for the jury.
October 16 — 25: The jury chooses winners of the competition.
November 15 — 16: Winners are awarded at the VIII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
