"Laws of streets and roads"

A serious problem of our days is the safety of children on the roads. Of all the participants in the movement, children are the most undisciplined pedestrians. Every year, a lot of traffic accidents occur on the roads and streets of the city, as a result of which children are killed and injured.
The librarian held a day of information "Laws of streets and roads" for the pupils of kindergarten No. 33. I read the book by L. Barbas "Once upon a time there were streets". I told the children about what kind of vehicles there are. The children repeated what the red, yellow, and green colors of the traffic light mean. They listened attentively about the road signs "Pedestrian crossing", "Crossroads", "Bus stop", "Tram stop".
At the end of the event, the cartoon "The Pedestrian's Alphabet" was viewed in order to consolidate knowledge about the rules of the road. An exhibition was organized for the event, which presents brightly illustrated books about the rules of the road.
