"Journey through dictionaries" (to the day of dictionaries and encyclopedias)

Why is November 22 celebrated the day of dictionaries and encyclopedias? After all, this is the birthday of Vladimir dal (1801-1872), who compiled an explanatory dictionary of the Russian language.
We introduced the students of the 4th grade of school No. 33 with the history of encyclopedias from the XVI century to the present day. They also learned to use dictionaries, encyclopedias and reference books. Then showed their knowledge when performing. Students with pleasure found synonyms and antonyms to the word, made words. They found words from phraseological units and showed pantomime.
