New State Awards in the Fields of Art and Culture

By a decree of the President of the Russian Federation, on August 9, 2021, the Order For Merit in Culture and Art and the Medal For Works in Culture and Art were created.

 The decree establishes who is to be awarded the order and medal, the rules for the awards in detail, and a written and visual description of the awards.  The decree came into force on the day it was signed.
