Winners of the Competition, “War. Fate. Library.”

The winners of the competition, “War.  Fate.  Library,” were announced by the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 to 1945.

The aim of the competition is to highlight the story of libraries during the war years and their contribution to the victory, by sharing local historical knowledge amassed from information technology resources and ensuring the availability of local historical information from libraries.

The competition received fourteen entrids from thirteen centralized library systems of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Based on the results of the competition, the winners are:

1st Place:

Galyautdinova Gulsem Khatipovna, chief bibliographer of the Apastov Central Library of the MBU "Centralized Library System" of the Apastov Municipal District, for the video presentation, "Through the Pages of History: Apastov Central Library During the Great Patriotic War."

2nd Place:

Nizameeva Kadriya Galyautdinovna, leading librarian of the Zireklinskaya Rural Library -branch No. 4 MBUK "Novosheshminskaya Centralized Library System of Novosheshminsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan,” for the video presentation, "The History of the Zireklinskaya Rural Library through Events, People, and Facts.”

3rd Place: 

Semyonova Tatiana Aleksandrovna, chief bibliographer of the Central Library of MBUK "Laishevskaya Centralized Library System,” for the project, “Memory Book: The History of Libraries in Laishevskiy District During the Great Patriotic War".
