On April 12, 1961, the Vostok spacecraft was launched into outer space for the first time with a human on board. The pilot of the spacecraft was Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet cosmonaut. Cosmonautics Day is an important event in our country's history, and children should be aware of it. It is very important to instill in children a sense of pride and respect for their country and its culture, as well as a sense of personal involvement in their homeland's life.
