September 8, 2023 marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Rasul Gamzatov Gamzatov - poet, novelist, publicist, translator. Gamzatov's work contains heartfelt poems in Russian and Avar languages that have enriched national and world culture. The famous song "Cranes" was written on the poems of the poet Rasul Gamzatov, which became an immortal anthem and a symbol of memory of the soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The Soviet poet, Hero of Socialist Labor, laureate of the Lenin and State Prizes owns wonderful poems, poems and sonnets.
