Agnia Lvovna Barto (real name Volova, 1906-1981) was born on February 17. She is one of the most famous Russian children's poets, writer, screenwriter, radio presenter. Her books have been published in huge editions, her poems have been translated into many languages of the world, and it was with her works that the acquaintance with poetry began for many generations of children. "The bull is rocking, sighing on the move...", "Our Tanya is crying loudly..." – all the children of our country know the lines of these poems from an early age. On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Agniya Barto's birth, the rural library is organizing a book exhibition featuring works that are familiar to everyone from their childhood. Agniya Barto's books are a wonderful gift not only for young readers but also for their parents, who can feel like children as they flip through the pages of her books.
