April 26 marks the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great Tatar poet, writer, translator and publicist Gabdulla Tukay (1886-1913). In honor of this significant date, a book exhibition is decorated in the library. She invites readers to immerse themselves in the world of Tukai's work: to learn about his difficult fate, which largely determined his views and poetic gift, and to discover works from the library fund. Guests of the exhibition will get acquainted with fairy tales full of magic and fun adventures, collections of poems, journalistic works and translations.
