"Blockade bread" is a symbol of hope for tomorrow, which forever remained in the memory of Leningraders who survived the harsh years of the blockade. Visitors will get acquainted with the difficult life in Leningrad under the blockade: hunger and lack of heat; about blockade bread, cards; "road of life" on the ice of Lake Ladoga; about the courage and heroism of Leningraders who endured these trials. I will tell you how little Leningraders, losing loved ones, dying of hunger and cold, tried in every possible way to help adults: they dropped "lighters," built barricades, worked in factories, looked after the wounded.
