This year marks the 140th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Tatar writer, poet translator, publicist Gabdulla Tukaya. His creative legacy is multifaceted. Fairy tales occupy a special place in the work of the famous poet. There are many miracles, funny stories, the presence of magical objects in the tales of Gabdulla Tukaya. The poet became the author of numerous translations into the Tatar language of Russian and foreign classics, stood at the origins of Tatar periodicals and magazines.

A book exhibition will be designed in the library, which presents books about the life and work of the national poet and the works of Gabdulla Tukai.
