He was the absolute batyr of the Menzelinsky and Naberezhno-Chelny districts in the 1970s and 1980s, a master of sports in national sports, an Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, a two-time batyr of the Republic of Tatarstan, a two-time batyr of the Russian Federation, and a three-time winner of the republican competitions in Tatar-Bashkir wrestling in memory of the hero-poet Musa Jalil. Rabbani Sharipov was born in 1935 in the village of Tornatash. He was orphaned at an early age and was raised by his brother's family. He worked on the collective farm "Alga." In honor of his 90th birthday, a review exhibition is being held.
