On November 6, 1992, at the XII session of the Supreme Council, the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan was adopted. This is a crucial political and legal document that brought together people of different nationalities, political affiliations, and religions, reflecting the aspirations of the republic's multi-ethnic population and meeting the demands of the new era in the history of Russia and Tatarstan. The adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan marked a significant political choice made by the republic and ushered in a new historical phase in its development. This document was based on the people's sincere desire to increase the republic's independence in solving its social and economic problems, as well as their genuine concern for the present and future of Tatarstan and their commitment to making it a democratic and legal state that actively participates in the Russian political process. The library will host a themed hour dedicated to this date.
