On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukay's birth, a literary hour will be held at the Semikeevskaya rural library. Gabdulla Tukay has gone down in the history of Tatar literature as a great poet who laid the foundation for national poetry and created its classical style. Despite his short life, Tukay left behind a vast legacy, with almost half of his works dedicated to children's literature. His poems are imbued with a deep love for his native language, his homeland, and its natural beauty. During the event, participants will learn about the poet's biography, interesting facts from his life, and his great works. A quiz on Tukay's works will also be organized for schoolchildren. A book exhibition titled "Tukay in Our Hearts" will be held to showcase the works of this great poet.
