Every year on January 27, our country celebrates the Day of the Complete Liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi Blockade. In honor of this memorable date, a lesson on courage will be held at the library. The librarian will tell the audience about the difficult life in Leningrad during the blockade, including the hunger and lack of heat, the blockade bread and ration cards, the "Road of Life" across Lake Ladoga, and the courage and heroism of the Leningraders who endured these trials. The librarian's story will be accompanied by a video presentation titled "900 Days of the Blockade." The event will end with readings of stories and poems about besieged Leningrad.
