United Russia is a Strong Russia

On November 4, our country celebrates National Unity Day. In modern Russia, it began to be celebrated relatively recently – in 2005, when Nizhny Novgorod became the center of celebrations. However, the roots of the holiday go deep into history. Attempts to make this day a holiday were made as early as 1649. Almost five hundred years ago! Then Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich declared October 22 (November 4 in the new style) — the Day of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God — a state holiday. The people believed that the victory in 1612 (which we will discuss later) was achieved thanks to this icon. The library will have a book exhibition for the holiday.  United Russia is a Strong Russia
