The February 23 holiday has been celebrated in Russia for more than 100 years. During this time, it changed several names, but the main patriotic meaning remained unchanged. On Defender of the Fatherland Day, people first of all pay tribute to the courage of their compatriots who showed valor and honor to defend their Homeland. There are defenders of the Fatherland in every family — these are grandfathers, older brothers, and, of course, beloved dads. On the eve of the holiday, a master class on making postcards will be organized in the library by February 23.
