On April 4, as part of the Book Weekends project, the model Central Children's Library will host the Runet Day "Our Friend or Our Enemy."

Young visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the Runet, uncover the secrets of popular digital technology professions, and discuss the topics of digital literacy and online safety.

They will discover that on April 7, 1994, the Russian Internet sector ".RU" was officially registered, marking the beginning of the development of the Russian virtual space, the Runet. Since then, this date has been celebrated as the Runet's Birthday.
