The event is held as part of the Book Weekend and is timed to coincide with World Snowman Day.
Children will hear stories about the origins and traditions of celebrating Snowman Day, watch the cartoon "The Postman Snowman," and then create their own little friend out of white paper and fluffy cotton wool.
Young guests will be able to plunge into the atmosphere of a winter fairy tale and have fun with their family in the library.
