The Sword of Victory was forged by Tatarstan

On the eve of the great date of May 9, representatives of the younger generation will get acquainted with the events, dates, and names of people who have been preserved in the national memory and passed down from generation to generation. Library visitors will view footage of the multimedia presentation "The Republic of Tatarstan during the Great Patriotic War", which will be complemented by a story about our region, where the Great Victory was forged in factories, factories and agricultural fields. The republic has become one of the largest centers for the production of military equipment, shell casings for artillery shells, bombers, fur products, and medicines for wounded soldiers. The shown footage will provide an opportunity to learn about the exploits of fellow countrymen: Farid Yarullin, Peter Gavrilov, Gazinur Gafiatullin, Alexander Matrosov, Mikhail Devyataev, Maguba Syrtlanova, Musa Jalil.
