"The legendary voice of the era"

On April 25, the Library and Information Center No. 1 invites high school students to an evening - portrait of Yuri Levitan "The Legendary voice of the Epoch". The unique voice of a man of great soul, the son, the patriot of his beloved Homeland, the announcer of the All–Union Radio Yuri Levitan, entered the history of the XX century. The children will get acquainted with his biography, watch a documentary with interesting facts from his life, and also hear his voice, which had a fascinating effect on people. A book exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be organized for visitors. Among them, a book about the Soviet radio announcer Yuri Borisovich Levitan will be presented – "Levitan. The Voice of Stalin" by Ella Taranova. The evening will end with reading poetry and watching the presentation "The Voice of War and Victory".
