New in Personal Data Processing
Starting September 1, 2025, consent for the processing of personal data must be formalized as a separate document.
In accordance with amendments to the Law on Personal Data, consent for the processing of personal data must now be formalized separately from other documents that are confirmed and (or) signed by the subject for personal data.
Some employers include consent for the processing of personal data in employment contracts or other documents upon hiring. In some libraries, consent for the processing of personal data is included in the document for agreement with the Library Rules of Use, signed by a citizen upon receipt of a library card (library form). This is now prohibited. Provisions for consent for the processing of personal data can no longer be included in user agreements, employment contracts, or in the text of other documents.
