Increasing the Level of Digital Literacy of the Population

In modern realities, society is exposed to information threats with massive intellectual and psychological impact. The impact of digital technologies on various areas of society’s information generates a wide range of challenges and threats to information security. This necessitates the development of adequate approaches to counter them.

In order to more widely inform the population of the Russian Federation about the capabilities of the single portal of state and municipal services, the importance of observing the rules of personal information security and information protection, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation has prepared a number of educational videos with recommendations aimed at improving digital literacy and safe behavior on the network.

These materials can be used in library events aimed at improving the culture of information security and developing skills in citizens to counter information security threats.
