The Strategy of the state cultural policy through 2030 has been approved
On September 11, 2024, the Order of the Russian Federation Economy approved the new Strategy of the state cultural policy through 2030.
The main directions of the strategy:
- Preservation of the complex cultural space, historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
- Formation of a developed culture that shares traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.
- Strengthening a unified Russian society through prioritizing cultural and humanitarian development.
- Application of civic identity.
- Creation of conditions for the education of a developed cultural identity.
- Transfer from generation to generation of traditional values, norms, traditions, and customs of Russian society.
- Creation of conditions for the realization of each person's creative abilities.
- Providing citizens with access to knowledge, information, and cultural values.
- Ensuring the cultural sovereignty of the Russian Federation.
- Expanding the role of the Russian Federation in the global humanitarian and cultural space.
Among the priority strategies being implemented - allowing government orders for the creation of high-quality content. This includes works of literature, art, information materials, printed products, services for cultural institutions, and national films. Another fundamental area of work is related to ensuring equal access to cultural services for all citizens of Russia, including people with disabilities, regardless of their place of residence.
An action plan for implementing the strategy will be developed in the near future.
