The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan is a holiday celebrated annually on August 30. On this day in 1990, the Supreme Soviet of the Republic adopted the declaration on the state sovereignty of the Tatar SSR. The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan is a national holiday that unites all residents of the region, regardless of their nationality, religion and culture. A book exhibition entitled "Tatarstan is my Homeland" will be organized in the library for this significant event of Tatarstan. The books located at the exhibition will acquaint readers with the modern life and historical past of Tatarstan, the main symbols, historical, cultural and literary heritage, beauty and natural wealth of the native land, traditions and customs of the peoples living on the territory of our republic. The exhibition will be intended for a wide range of readers.
