About the library

Youth library began its work in 1987. The facility is located on the ground floor of a nine-storey building. Has a separate entrance. In its first year of existence, the number of users amounted to 2,100 people. Today, the library serves more than 5,000 users.



Service to the readers of the youth library is carried out through the lending library and reading room.




The opening of the book Fund is held through book fairs, open shelves, information tables - all of this is made in 2 official languages of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the materials of the conducted surveys and interviews with readers. A huge role in this work is played by mass action, as the library actively cooperates with educational institutions of the city.



In youth served by the library district are: secondary school № 5, 7, 21, 27; gymnasium № 25; Lyceum № 35; correctional school № 23.



Youth library carries out its mission based on the knowledge of adolescence: psychological flexibility, mobility of young, personality traits, the influence of youth subcultures, the need for the profession and much more. The library staff tries to present a positive image of the library, the quality of its services.



The library carries out work in the following areas: Patriotic, moral, legal, environmental, aesthetic education, local history, fiction promotion. Special attention is paid to prevention of drug abuse and promotion of healthy lifestyles.



Major anniversaries librarians of large scale events with the use of video presentations. Scripts are prepared by the library staff.




The main objective of the library remains the provision of information to readers. This contributes to a well-stocked library Fund.



The library, with its vast intellectual and spiritual richness, the user opens through the book window on the world of knowledge, information, and offers opportunities for spiritual development, education and self-education.




Service to readers we build in such a way as to satisfy their cultural and information needs, to help personal growth.



The library staff tries to present a positive image of the library, especially the quality of customer service, quality of service, timely warning of conflicts between the library and its users.
