On February 19, the library-branch No. 10 will host a quiz dedicated to the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated in February at the initiative of the UNESCO General Conference for the Preservation and Development of endangered languages, the study of linguistic and cultural traditions, as well as the Year of Native Languages and National Unity in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The native language is the character of the people, their memory, history, and spiritual power. In the introductory part, the participants of the event will be able to learn about the history of the holiday, about the diversity of languages on the planet. Then the library guests will be invited to take part in the games "Opposite meaning", "Continue the proverb", "Find a pair", "Find other words", "Name one word", "Comparison", "Lost letters", "Make up new words", "Pick up a phrase" and others.
