The lesson, which will take place on January 13, will be dedicated to Russian Press Day. Primary school students will learn that the press is an excellent way to convey information. During the lesson, students will discover many interesting facts about Russian Press Day, including the fact that it is a professional holiday not only for journalists, but also for editors, proofreaders, and photojournalists, as well as for all employees of the media. Children will be informed that reading magazines and newspapers broadens their horizons, and that the people involved in the preparation of each issue perform important and responsible tasks. At the end of the lesson, I suggest that the children play a game of crosswords.
