Every year, on the last Sunday of November, our country celebrates Mother's Day. This holiday is a perfect opportunity to express our love and deep gratitude to the most important person in our lives - our mothers. After all, mothers are the embodiment of goodness, wisdom, and compassion. 

 

 The image of a woman in Russian literature is one of the most "pure" and sincere images that can be found in the works of Russian authors. The images of mothers are similar in many Russian literary works, differing only in the degree of love they have for their children. The Betkinskaya Library will host a book exhibition titled "The Image of a Mother in Literature".
