Victory Windows is an All—Russian patriotic campaign in which people decorate the windows of their houses, apartments, schools, offices and institutions with symbols of the Great Victory: St. George ribbons, stars, silhouettes of cranes, photos of veterans, inscriptions "Thank you for the Victory!" and other thematic drawings.
The purpose of the action:
- To preserve the memory of the heroic deeds of the people in the Great Patriotic War.
- To express gratitude to the veterans.
- Create a festive atmosphere on the eve of May 9th.
- To unite generations through joint creativity.
