Migratory birds are those birds that do not find food for themselves in late autumn and winter, and fly away to warm countries where there is plenty of food. Insectivorous, marsh, and waterfowl birds fly away from us. Why? Starlings, rooks, cuckoos, and other insectivorous birds feed on insects. In autumn, insects hide in the bark of trees, burrow into the ground, and find sheltered places to spend the winter. The birds cannot find insects, and they become hungry and cold, so they fly away. Marsh and waterfowl birds feed on small fish, frogs, and aquatic insects. In autumn, it gets cold, and frogs and aquatic insects hibernate. In winter, the water turns into ice, making it difficult for birds to reach the fish. A quiz will be held in Semikeevskaya rural school
