On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Evgrafovich Saltykov-Shchedrin, a brilliant Russian writer and thinker, a brilliant publicist and literary critic, and a talented magazine editor, the library will present a selection of the author's best works, ranging from his early stories to his mature novels and fairy tales. Among the books on display are the novel-pamphlet "The History of One City," the collection of short stories "Fairy Tales" ("The Bear in Chief," "The Wild Landowner"), and the novel "The Golovlyov Family."
