"Who invented emerald city"

Our literary cruise on the 125-th anniversary from birthday of A. M. Volkov. The event was prepared a book exhibition and presentation. The event was held with children from the school camp HQ.11.

At the beginning of the cruise the children were asked to recall and name the author, who according to them invented the emerald city. They learned that this city was invented by the American writer L. F. Baum. The children also learned how he came up with the name of the magical land "Oz". A special attention was paid A. M.
