«Happy Birthday, Santa Claus!»

Purpose: to deliver to children the joy of meeting with their favorite character, to develop the need to give friends gifts and congratulations. All of us from the early childhood have already got used, that with New Year's holidays to our house the Grandfather the Frost comes. He gives gifts, which we dreamed about for a year. Modern children write a letter of request to Grandfather Frost, and Father Frost tries to fulfill all wishes. But there is one day in the year, when Father Frost himself accepts congratulations. This day falls on November 18. This day is considered the birthday of Santa Claus.

 In the square of Lemayev, a cheerful birthday of the beloved Grandfather Frost was organized. After asking the passers-by and participants about the knowledge of the place of residence, about the powers and possibilities of Santa Claus, business cards were sent out with an invitation to the library, and the library's advertisement was given.

Then there were organized outdoor games:

Nested dolls.
Jumping in the New Year.
Round dance songs for Santa Claus, reading poetry, playing a metalophone.
After the games, the winners were awarded prizes.
The children were delighted with the costume heroes of Santa Claus and the Wise Owl, with desire participated in games, sang and danced to merry music. All participated: 50 people.
