"Severe drama of the people"

October 30, according to the decision of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, since 1991, the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression has been celebrated on the territory of Russia. The hour of historical memory was dedicated to this date.

The lesson was held on the background of the presentation "Political repression of 1937-38."

The terrible pages of our history were political repression. Moreover, the best of the best were humiliated and destroyed, who did not even have to fight against their people in their thoughts. Thousands of engineers, hundreds of thousands of tortured, executed, ruined party members, millions of peasants who were victims of dekulakization, marshals and generals, scientists and poets, writers and artists who in fact were devoted to the Motherland.

A story about the repressions of Stalin's times, about the Gulag.
Repressed famous Russian poets and writers.
Repressed members of the creative union of writers from Tatarstan.
A review of the books "The Book of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions" (2000), Rafael Mostafin "The Repression of the Tatars of the Adapted" (2009), Shalamov V. "Kolyma Stories. Left Bank "(2012) and so on.
The lesson passed in one breath. The students listened attentively to the information and took an active part in the conversation-review. For a more in-depth study of the serious topic, they were invited to the library. A total of 36 people took part.
