"They fought for their homeland"

   In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, in the framework of the action “100 days before the Victory”, films are shown in the cinema of our library that tell about those terrible years. You can learn about what happened in those terrible and difficult years not only from books, periodicals, archival documents, but also from documentaries and feature films.

   One of the first members of the “Give yourself joy” club was shown the film “They Fought for their Homeland”. The epic film, where the main emphasis is on the disclosure of images of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. S. Bondarchuk's ideal, expertly executed directing can serve as an example of setting military-themed films.

   Very emotionally, with pain and at the same time with pride for ancestors, I went through the viewing. After all, many members of the club are children of war. The number of those present is 14 people.
