"Around Chekhov"

The work of the great Russian writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov dates to the end of the 19th century. Chekhov’s language does not resemble the language of other writers. He is very beautiful, and most importantly, accessible and understandable, the main idea of the writer is immediately visible, but this simplicity and openness, first of all, testifies to the depth of the author’s life experience. 

An event "Around Chekhov", dedicated to the 160th anniversary of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, was held with pupils of secondary school No. 16 in the format "Pecha Kucha". Young readers got acquainted with interesting pages of the life of a great writer. They made a virtual tour of the Chekhov places in Taganrog. The guys visited the house where A.P. was born Chekhov, gymnasium. We learned a lot of interesting things about children's and gymnasium years. The tour was accompanied by a conversation between the librarian and the children. In addition, the students themselves prepared reports on read stories. Interested in the work of Chekhov, the guys took the books offered home.

In conclusion, they held their game “Chekhov Today and Always,” which showed that the fate of the writer touched the souls of the children - they answered almost all the questions of the game. The library staff expressed the hope that the students discovered Chekhov, deeply worried about the fate of people, the country. Presented - 8 books, viewed - 17 books.
