"Opportunities are limited, abilities are unlimited"
The conversation dedicated to the Decade of Persons with Disabilities began with an explanation of the reasons for the emergence of International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Russia: its necessity and significance. On this Day, there is once again an opportunity to draw public attention to the problems of people with disabilities, to show that disability is just a state of the body.
Gradually, the conversation turned to a review of books and periodicals. The main book was Boris Polevoy "The Tale of a Real Man." Periodicals revealed the feat of courageous people with a good heart and strong spirit. They found the strength to overcome their hardships in life, to survive and live a full interesting life. The guys found out about our compatriot Marta Zainullina, champion of the Paralympic Games, about the Belarusian Aleksey Talay, and about Nick Vuychich. The children were offered a video about people with disabilities.
The children also got acquainted with the literary works of writers who, having physical limitations of their health, created beautiful works that were loved by readers of different generations.
