New Year's Eve... A magical, bright, and noisy holiday with a sea of gifts, surprises, and wishes. It is awaited by adults and children, celebrated at home and at work, in schools and kindergartens... 

 The librarian will congratulate the children on the upcoming holiday, tell them about the traditions of celebrating New Year's Eve in different countries, the history of the Christmas tree, and, of course, about the kind gift-giver, Grandfather Frost. The guests will solve fun riddles, recall proverbs and sayings about winter, and read poems about winter. A book exhibition "Winter is a Time of Miracles" will be set up for the event, where children can choose their favorite books to take home.
