On the eve of a bright holiday dedicated to the most precious person in each of our lives, the library will open its doors to all those who wish to honor and express their love and gratitude to their mothers. The librarian will take participants on a fascinating journey through the history of Mother's Day, exploring its deep roots and significance in various cultures. They will discover the numerous literary works, songs, and poems dedicated to mothers. A quiz titled "Mom is the Most Important Word" will be held in a playful format, allowing participants to showcase their knowledge and understanding of motherhood. Guests will have to solve riddles about mothers, families, and children, as well as recall wise proverbs and sayings that reflect the importance and value of mothers in everyone's lives. A book exhibition-congratulation "Mom is a precious word" will be prepared for the event. It will feature well-known works by Soviet and foreign authors.
