 The Siege of Leningrad is a wound that will never fully heal. It is a story of unimaginable courage, strength of spirit, and how humanity can shine even in the darkest of times. Loud reading is one of the ways to preserve memory, pass on the baton of generations, foster a sense of belonging, and honor the memory of heroes.

The event will feature excerpts from works that have become testaments to the era: diaries, letters, eyewitness accounts, poems, and prose that were born in the besieged city.

Participants will be treated to personal accounts filled with sincerity and pain, allowing us to see the blockade through the eyes of ordinary people – children, women, and the elderly. Additionally, the stories of those who survived the blockade will serve as an invaluable source of information and a living testament to history.
