January 27 is a special date in the history of our country. On this day in 1944, the Siege of Leningrad, which lasted for 900 long days and nights, was broken.
The librarian will tell the library guests about the hardships faced by the residents of the besieged city of Leningrad: the hunger and cold, the children and women who worked alongside men in the factories, and the defense of Leningrad by Soviet soldiers. The children will learn about the fate of the young girl Tanya Savicheva, whose diary became one of the symbols of the Great Patriotic War.
