In November, two prominent writers celebrate their anniversaries: Alexander Blok (145 years since the poet's birth) and Mark Twain (190 years since the birth of the American writer and satirist).

Alexander Alexandrovich Blok (November 28, 1880-born) was a Russian poet of the Silver Age, writer, publicist, playwright, translator, and literary critic. He is a classic of Russian literature in the 20th century and one of the most prominent representatives of Russian symbolism.

Mark Twain (real name: Samuel Langhorne Clemens) is an American writer, humorist, journalist, and public figure. His works span various genres, including humor, satire, philosophical fiction, journalism, and more. He was born on November 30, 1935.
